Terms of Service

Alenea is a job-matching platform that automatically scans job boards, ranks listings against your profile, and surfaces high-probability matches. Additional features include an AI-powered Application Kit generator (tailored resumes and cover letters), a Kanban-style application tracker, and email alerts.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Alenea. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@alenea.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

Alenea offers the following plans:

All prices are in Euros and are inclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment details you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method in accordance with your selected plan.

The Pro plan is billed monthly on the date you first subscribed. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

The Sprint plan is a one-time purchase. Access begins immediately and expires after 30 days.

Pro subscription. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time. If you cancel your Pro subscription your access continues until the end of the billing period and no further charges are made.

Sprint. Sprint purchases are non-refundable once the 30-day access period has begun. If you have not yet used the service after purchase, contact us within 48 hours and we will consider a refund at our discretion.

If Alenea is unable to deliver the service due to a fault on our end we will offer a pro-rated credit or refund.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload false, misleading, or someone else's CV or personal data.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or circumvent plan limits.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

All content, design, and code on the Alenea platform is our property or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You retain ownership of the data you upload (CV, notes, preferences). By uploading content you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to deliver the service. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that job matches will result in employment, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated documents will be accepted by employers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alenea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if continued operation creates legal or security risks.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal legal proceedings.
